Thursday the fourteenth
A pleasant day but a frightful wind Edith went to Boston to get my boots, got home safely but I cant wear the boots can’t even get my feet into them so they must go back. I get so discouraged. We are talking of going to Salem next Sunday I dread it so. Audrea’s coat was finished today looks very well. Edith was planning to go out + get Audrea some pumps + take back my boots but Clarence took it into his head to go somewhere else + it was too late when he got home to do anything.
