April 1, 1927: “an unusually stirring one”

Friday the first of April
A pleasant day. Also an unusually stirring one. Did up the living room drapries + got them hung. In the p.m. Mrs Lemon came in had a nice call. Cheered me up some. what, feel better. Edith went out in the car to get something for dinner. Ruth came down + later Amozelle. stayed to dinner Dont think she had a very pleasant time every one sulky. After I say what I’ve got to say I’m over it for a time untill the next provocation, but not so Edith, but we got rid of a lot of old clothes + partially cleared the decks, but there is a lot more yet

coming soon…
