March 16, 1927: “Edith wrote to Edith”

Wednesday the sixteenth
Very pleasant + quite warm. The most important thing today was Edith going in town and buying a hat for herself also Audrea. I did not get any. I got dinner, ate it read some + went to bed. Edith wrote to Edith Macdonald also Fred. Wonder if we will ever hear from them

NOTES + EXPLANATIONS

Who are Edith and Fred Macdonald? Perhaps this is Edith’s aunt and uncle on her dad’s side? John Wesley Macdonald‘s family is still largely unknown to me, but there is mention of a brother Fred in a newspaper article.
