A pleasant day. Nothing new. feel wretched. Amozelle came in + is coming in tomorrow again to get some things we wish to give away. the same old programme. Read + went to bed. Had the rug in living room beaten.

Lovely in the morning, but clouded up in the p.m. Edith washed a blanket + some other things also a coat for Audrea which she is going to make over.

Tuesday the twenty ninth
A beautiful day. Feel a little better. Edith took down the curtains in the dining room + her room + washed them, got the dining room curtains up again. Read “Misty Flats” after dinner till the rest went to bed then the papers, went to bed about three o’clock

Monday the twenty eighth
I beautiful morning, but I feel utterly miserable. Got cold I guess. I don’t know what is the matter with me but something is the same old programme. Nothing to read but the papers. Went to bed about three o’clock.

March 27, 1927: “bad spell with my heart”

Sunday the twenty seventh
Very pleasant. Did not feel well, had a bad spell with my heart in the morning but Edith was so positive that a ride would do me good that I went out in the p.m. They took me into Boston + showed me some of the old landmarks, or rather where they used to be. Saw nothing familiar everything changed. Shook one up a great deal. I feel badly tonight.
