February 16, 1927: “thankful to be alive”

Wednesday the sixteenth A beautiful day in the morning but clouded up in the p.m. Feel a little better in some ways but cannot eat any thing however I am thankful to be alive no one came in. read aloud in the evening + went to bed.

      Heck! That’s the only reason I’m still transcribing! If I listed to her all the time, I wouldn’t think she’d make it past Friday! 🙂

      No, don’t worry. She does ok for another couple of years at least. And the drama returns in fits and spurts. She stops writing for a year or two in 1928/9, but picks it up again in 1931. And for that year I have the simultaneous diary entries of my grandmother (Audrey), so that should be funny.
